Blended up paper from books, made that paper pulp into new paper, and bound that new paper into new books.

Source material from left to right: Frankenstein, Critical Theory textbook, all six of Jane Austen’s novels.

Originally displayed on a 6’ table in a university classroom. “Works Cited” were displayed behind each section, listing materials used to create the work. Viewers were welcome to touch anything and take home one of the Jane Austen booklets.
